Sad good byes!

We NEVER got to say good bye to our kids at the various places which was very sad!!!! It rained all day long!
But at the same time thank goodness it did. Because we needed to pack up the bags for our school outings tomorrow! We tied up bows. We pumped up balls. We counted everything. We would have been up until 1 in the morning and still would not have been done!!! So it was a VERY GOOD thing that we got to stay!
Tonight we did our last service.... Our last show... And said our last good byes... It was very very sad. We may see some people tomorrow at the schools. But only few.
It is amazing how close our group got. The translators and our team. And the kids and our team. It is sooooo sad that we will be leaving soon. I think that we all hope to come back! And (at least for me) If I could do it all over again I would not change a thing! Everyone has been TERRIFIC! It blows my mind how hard we have worked and how much we have accomplished. We learned so much! How to listen. How to talk to someone who speaks a different language. How to make balloon animals very quickly! And SO much more!
I will try to post tomorrow. But it will be crazy!

A Wee bit of rain!

So i do not think that we will be able to go out for our morning program do to a little rain. But as of right now the afternoon one is still gonna happen! I am so sad that today is our last day with the kids!!!! Tomorrow we get up VERY early and hand out stuff at the schools. That evening we will have teachers teas. I can not believe that it is almost OVER!! It is so sad. We have all made great friendships with the kids and adults that have come to our programs! It is going to be sad to say good bye! But we have also made AMAZING friends out of our translators! They are all so great! They will be the hardest to leave. 2 days til our plane ride home... Sad and happy but sad. I think most everyone agrees that we all want to come back again! There really is nothing like being here!
I can not post pictures right now but I will try to later.

Sorry about last night!

I got distracted with Timothy. And then it was like 11 and I had to finish my story. So yeah... Sorry.
Yesterday went very well. We had church in the morning. It rained a little. Went out and did one of the shows with the kids. Ms. Becky and Mrs. Joan lead the story of Zacchaeus. The kids LOVED it! That morning in church Mr. Rob and Mrs. Nana shared testimonies. That night Ms. Becky told her testimony and Mr. Rob preached. Ms. Nan lead the story of Jesus walking on water. Colt played Jesus! The kids loved having the skit!

Ok so today we had the story of the of Lazarus. It went over really well! Tonight Mr,. Rob will preach and Colt will lead the story of Saul becoming Paul. My mom ,Lenora, will share her testimony.

Sorry this is so short but I must get ready.

Silly Band DAY!!!!

The Silly Bands were a HUGE SUCCESS! Everyone loved them! I have loads of pictures to show! It was another teriffic day. Our numbers in some groups were down just a bit we think its because the kids had chores. We are not sure yet though. But still everyone loved the silly bands.
This morning Laura and I talked about the good samaritan. We had the kids do a skit and it was a moment that no one that was there will forget soon.!
As usual Rob preached. Tonight Laura and I sang and gave testimonies. And I lead kid's show during the sermon. I talked about he parable of the lost sheep.
O! And the excitement of the day was this morning. Laura decided to straighten her hair. Even with the energy thingy converters. It blew up. So Laura's straightener is fried! Very funny to watch! But Laura was quite disturbed...
One of our very favorite moments of the day was seeing little Timothy (Alexandru's 3 year old son( sitting in the trunk of the van in a teeny tiny cars fold up chair! It was so cute!
Hope y'all had a great day!

DAY 2!

Hey this is Laura. Here is my verse for the day: The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;your love, O Lord, endures forever. Psalm 138:8 Have fabulous night!!

Grace is here. Again an amazing day! Nan and Becky told the story of feeding the 5,000! It went over very well. We gave out gold fish and cheerios as our fish and bread. And the kids loved it! We also handed out pencils and coloring sheets. Everyone was very excited.
Laura shared the story of washing the disciples feet tonight for the kids. Joan shared her testimony and did an outstanding job! Mr. Rob preached once again and really spoke the the hearts of the people! Laura and I sang the motions at tonights service everyone said that they liked it.
I think that we are finally getting in the swing of things here!
We did have one tiny mishap. Today is Moldova independence day. So they had a huge concert on the steps of the place that we had  our night service at! It was easily worked out we used side doors and put the kids stuff on in the back. Everything worked out great. Hope everything is going well there. Here are a few pictures of our day.

Day 1 on the field!

We had a terrific day! The story at the parks was about the wise man built his house on the rock and the foolish mad built his on the sand. We split into 2 groups and went to a total of 4 places (2 for each group). Very good turn out! At the first place we had a day care come over and ended up with 80ish kids (in each group)! At the second location we had 20-30. Also very good !
So far nothing really bad has happened. We did have some technical difficulties with our music. So Laura and I did not sing. But we should be okay for tomorrow!  We met many new people. Made some news friends.
At the service tonight we had 200 or so people! Colt gave his testimony and was VERY good. Ms. Becky told about the calling of the disciples for the kids and Mr. Rob preached. Everyone did a great job today. And just a side note. Y'all should all be very jealous Svetlana (i think thats how its spelled) is an AMAZING cook!

We made it!

It is true after over 24 hours of flying and sitting in airports we finally made it!
Our flights went very smoothly. And we are all VERY tired!!
It is very different and very similar all at once. Upon our arrival we were put into the terminal trains to get to security to leave. We got through security very painlessly. All of luggage arrived nothing was stolen or lost that we know of.
After sleeping most of the way from the airport to the house we unloaded and had a nice light meal. As our table discussion we learned that the church had handed out 7,000 flyer/things advertising on group coming! We of course had a few complaints from some people but one person really stood out. He threatened to break Both of Alexandru's legs! It may be slightly frightening but we know that God works for the good of those who love Him! As I said everything here is great. We will wake up bright and early in the morning have breakfast and head out to various parks to tell Bible stories. Wish us the best! And keep us constantly in your prayers.
Thank everyone so much!
