This morning Laura and I talked about the good samaritan. We had the kids do a skit and it was a moment that no one that was there will forget soon.!
As usual Rob preached. Tonight Laura and I sang and gave testimonies. And I lead kid's show during the sermon. I talked about he parable of the lost sheep.
O! And the excitement of the day was this morning. Laura decided to straighten her hair. Even with the energy thingy converters. It blew up. So Laura's straightener is fried! Very funny to watch! But Laura was quite disturbed...
One of our very favorite moments of the day was seeing little Timothy (Alexandru's 3 year old son( sitting in the trunk of the van in a teeny tiny cars fold up chair! It was so cute!
Hope y'all had a great day!

Poor Laura! I'm glad no one was hurt. The silly bands look great. I wish I could have been there to see the good samaritan skit, hear the lost sheep parable, and most of all to hear the testimonies and the singing. I know the whole team must be very excited about all of the ways that God is using you. I'm praying for you all the time.

8 He raises the poor from the dust
and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
he seats them with princes
and has them inherit a throne of honor.
"For the foundations of the earth are the LORD's;
upon them he has set the world.
9 He will guard the feet of his saints,
but the wicked will be silenced in darkness.
"It is not by strength that one prevails

ReplyDeleteHey Laura and team. Isn't it amazing that God can use silly bands. Paul says I become all things to all people that I may win some. So glad that all is going well -except sorry about laura's straightener. Praying that the Lord would be your vision. Peg Guthrie
ReplyDeleteHope Sunday was another great day. Lots of people asked about y'all. Joe and Bebe send their best. It has been nice to have a little bit slower day today. Light rain yesterday, last night, and today. The weather has finally cooled off a little, actually very nice. I love you very much. I know you will be very busy--just a few more days. I pray the Lord will give each of you His strength and His peace.
